Ms. Kala is a multifaceted artist and an accomplished professional, blending her expertise in Bharatanatyam, Carnatic Vocal, and Veena with an illustrious career in finance. Her journey in classical arts began at a young age, studying under esteemed mentors such as Mr. Soundarajan (disciple of O.S. Thyagarajan), Mrs. Sundari (disciple of the Radha Jayalakshmi sisters), and Ms. Shanta (disciple of Dr. S. Ramanathan). Kala further refined her Bharatanatyam skills under the tutelage of Mrs. Arya from Kalakshetra, one of the most prestigious dance institutions in India.
Her dedication to the arts has seen her perform at numerous cultural events, festivals, and celebrations, showcasing her versatility as a dancer, vocalist, and instrumentalist. She was also an integral part of the Global Rhythm dance group, further expanding her artistic horizons and connecting with diverse audiences.
Beyond the arts, Kala is a distinguished professional, holding qualifications as a Chartered Accountant (India), Cost and Management Accountant (ICMAI, India), and Certified Practising Accountant (CPA, Australia). Her ability to balance her passion for classical arts with her professional achievements is a testament to her discipline and commitment.
