Ms. Kawita

Kawita is a dedicated Bharatanatyam dancer and instructor whose journey in this classical art form began seven years ago under the esteemed tutelage of Guru Shylu Winston. Her passion and commitment to Bharatanatyam have led her to perform at numerous prestigious events, captivating audiences with her grace, intricate movements, and emotive expressions.

As an instructor, Kawita specializes in teaching young children, skillfully creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Her ability to connect with kids and handle them with care makes her a favorite among her young students, fostering their love for Bharatanatyam while instilling discipline and confidence.

In addition to teaching, Kawita is currently expanding her artistic horizons by learning Carnatic vocals under the guidance of Guru Shylu Winston. This musical training enriches her understanding of Bharatanatyam, enabling her to integrate the nuances of rhythm and melody into her teaching and performances.
