Ms. Keerthana

Ms. Keerthana Sekar is a passionate performing artist who has dedicated her life to the classical arts of Bharatanatyam and Carnatic Music. Though an engineering graduate, she chose to leave her IT career to pursue her true calling in the fine arts—a decision that reflects both courage and commitment to her passion and music sessions.

A Bharatanatyam learner since the age of three, she completed her Arangetram in 2014 and earned First Class in the Government of Tamil Nadu Bharatanatyam Exam. She is also trained in Indian folk dance and has choreographed and performed in several cultural productions.

In addition, her training in Carnatic Vocal Music allows her to integrate rhythm, melody, and expression seamlessly bringing holistic understanding to both her dance and music sessions.

Her teaching approach blends discipline with creativity, ensuring that students not only master technique but also understand the deeper cultural and emotional essence behind each performance. Through her nurturing yet inspiring style, Ms. Keerthana Sekar guides students to build confidence, stage presence, and an enduring appreciation for India’s classical heritage.
