Roopali Banerjee is a versatile and accomplished music educator, with a rich background spanning Hindustani classical music, Rabindra Sangeet, Western classical piano, guitar, and vocal composition. Born into a musical family in Allahabad, India, her musical journey began at a young age under the tutelage of her father, Sri Arun Kumar Ganguly, who trained her in classical guitar.

Roopali holds Master’s degrees in Commerce and Computer Science and alongside her corporate experience as an HR professional, her passion for music remained a constant force.
​
She pursued her formal training in Hindustani vocal music under Guru T.N. Sharma from Prayag Sangeet Samiti and later under Guru Sushanta Chowdhury and completed her Visharad in Hindustani Vocal. She also holds Senior Diplomas in Hindustani Classical and Bhav Sangeet as well as Rabindra Sangeet from Bangiya Sangeet Kala Kendra, Kolkata.

Her Western music credentials include Grade 8 in Piano from ABRSM, and training at Yamaha Music School. As a composer, she has produced and released two original music albums — Jiya Mora and Sawariya — in collaboration with AUM Studio, showcasing her creative capabilities as a vocalist and musician.

At Sarva Fine Arts, Roopali’s ability to bridge Eastern and Western musical sensibilities makes her a valuable mentor to students across various age groups and skill levels. Her teaching philosophy is centered on clarity, versatility, and joy — empowering learners to build a strong technical foundation while enjoying the lifelong journey of music.
