Holding a Master's degree in Vocal Classical Music from Rabindra Bharati University, Ms. Sucheta's musical journey has been shaped by the guidance of illustrious mentors, notably Padma Bhushan Pandit Debu Chowdhury.
Throughout her career, Ms. Sucheta has graced prestigious platforms, including Akashvani in Kolkata and the Sangeet Natak Academy, where her soul-stirring performances captivated audiences from 1998 to 2000. Her artistry has been further enriched through collaborations and performances alongside stalwarts such as Pandit Birju Maharaj and Pandits Rajan and Sajan Mishra, both in Singapore and India.
Sucheta's prowess as a vocalist has been recognized through numerous accolades at the national level in India. Notably, she was honored with the 'Best Vocalist of the Year' title in 1996 for Hindustani Classical Music – Khayal at the prestigious AIR Music Competition. Her versatility and command over various genres, including Khayal, Ghazal, and Thumri, showcase the depth of her musical repertoire and artistic finesse.
